Psychology Club

Mission Statement

The Bloomington High School Psychology Club is a student organization that investigates human behavior and sponsors activities in an effort to keep our campus informed of important psychological issues, especially as they pertain to teens.  Students will further their knowledge and understanding of psychology through various activities, informative videos, and individual research presented to the group, i.e. Bloomington High School Psychology Fair.  The club will invite guest speakers about topics ranging from mood disorders to careers in psychology.   The BHS Psychology Club will encourage members to actively participate in community service projects and awareness programs such as the Dana Foundation Brain Awareness Week, held annually in March.  The Bloomington High School Psychology Club will provide for members both a practical understanding of the human mind and human behavior and further knowledge on how the theoretical concepts in psychology are applicable in the community.
